He did WHAT!?

Hey guys,
This week we will be going over the REST of ch.8. That is verses 14-32. We had some SWEET discussion that took all our time so we need to finish the rest of the chapter! This week we talked about Jesus and we started getting into his miracles. Including his divine knowlege. This week I want everyone to study INTO his miracles. Why did he perform them the way he did? This week we discovered that there were reasons to how he performed miracles, so lets take that midset and apply it to this weeks passage! Im really excited about how our group has been running the pasat couple of weeks! Good Job you guys! See ya SOON!

Hey Guys,
This week I want you all to read ch. 8! Remember this week we talked about what it means to be a true follower of Christ? Next week Jesus himself will shed some light on this. We will find that Christian faith is more than what we are taught as kids, like we can inherit our salvation through our parents or grandparents beliefs. As sweet as that would be, it's just not how God works, and for that matter, how he wants us to work. Pray for our group! Ill see you guys on Wednesday!

Gasp..... ahhhh.......

This week we will be going over ch.7! Now we are going to start bringing together everything Jesus has taught us so far and really try to analyze his teachings..... cuz lets be honest, Jesus will confuse the crap outa you if you dont pay attention. I think its really gonna be something that when we are done, we will all be able to sit back, relax, and finally have a better understanding of what Jesus calls for our life. Come hungry!Cuz we are bout to get a big slice of Jesus pie! haha See ya!

Lets Pray

Hey Guys, This week we will be going over all of Ch.6. As a people that strive to come closer to God one of the hardest things to find time for is "Good Prayer" Whats good prayer? Thats what we will be discussing. In a lot of our lives prayer has been reduced to a thing that we do "Religiously" before dinner and on most nights before bed. And even those prayers often fall scripted and obviously dont reflect our true hearts desire of worship. I want everyone to Focus on how to enrich our prayer lives. By reading Ch.6 we should have a better understanding of how to Pray with Purpose. See you guys!

Sorry guys, but we have to cancel Focus this week. (26th) With it being the Holiday season and all we just have other obligations. So stay home and enjoy whatever family you have been neglecting all year! Merry Christmas and We'll see ya in '08!
